More information on registering for Origins.
Ok guys, so fielded a few questions.
Yes, you can still get a cheap membership to Origins through us, the only difference is we cannot sell you a ticket to the GT itself. So here is the deal:
You can join Legendary Gamers for $10, which also gives you the ability to buy a badge to Origins for $35 ($45 total), and then the GT is another $10, so $55.
If you JUST want the GT on Saturday, you can attend Origins for a one-day badge of $25, plus the $10 for the GT, so $35 total.
Correction: The GT cost has been lowered to $8 (thank you, Origins!). Just for your ifnormation. Anyone who signed up with me should have already had their event money refunded. If not, let me know and I'll take care of it.

Hey guys, there was a bit of miscommunication on our part regarding how we could handle admission to Origins this year.
Note that this was our fault, and not Origins.
For this year we are able to sell you a badge to Origins as part of your membership cost with our club.
The cost for this is $45. We are NOT permitted to sell tickets to our event.
Anyone who has purchased a 1 or 5 -day membershp to Origins through us will still receive a badge as a member of Legendary Gamers.
However, if you purchased a ticket to the GT, you will receive an email regarding how admission to this will be handled shortly.

A note on prize support
We have gotten a few questions related to prize support for this year's tournament. A few notes:
(1) It is true GW pulled support from the Circuit. This does not just affect our event, but any event that was on last year's Circuit. This does not mean we are without prizes however!
(2) The flasks will be back. It started as a gimmick years ago, but has become one of the most frequently praised aspects of our events. Flasks will be awarded at the 2v2 tournament as well.
(3) We have several sponsors providing prize support who will be listed separately.
(4) If you pre-reg with us rather than Origins a small portion of the fee goes to prize support. The vast majority of it (90+%) are fees from origins however.
(5) Finally, you will have noticed ads on this blog. Any money raised through clicks on these ads will also go to support the tournament prize pool. So feel free to click on any ads you find interesting and support our sponsors!

POINT VALUE CORRECTION!!
Note!!
In the Origins Event Listings the GT is listed as a 2200 point event. As such, we are changing the point value to 2200 points!!!
Additionally, the 2v2 tournament is being updated to a 1000x2 size tournament.

As of now we will be offering the following events:
Warhammer Fantasy Battle (5 events)
Warhammer Fantasy RPG (2 events)
Mouseguard RPG (2 events)
Star Wars Minis (2 events)
In addition, we will be working closely with 40korigins on their 40k events. Check them out as well!

Generally, our group runs tournaments. This year we will be running a couple of specialized events that will probably not be released in time for the event book. They will be run on site.
North Coast Gamers also runs a fair number of specialized Warhammer events, and I encourage you to check them out as well.
Our tables are available and open for open gaming whenever the Minis hall is open, so feel free to drop by and play!

When you register please send a note with your payment (or email separately) indicating the full name you want displayed on your badge.
